I am a software developer with experience in e-commerce, manufacturing and finance. My main languages are Java and JavaScript and I am interested in other programming languages and paradigms. Cloud-native programming of microservices on platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the way forward. Beyond programming, I take part in devops activities especially in relation to virtualisation and cloud technologies. Open-source participation is in the pipeline.

One of my interests besides computers is the English language. I enjoy reading etymologies, and playing word games such as Scrabble and crosswords.
