Unable to save in gridbox editor

Question

I'm trying to add/remove things from our homepage and where I would usually click 'save' in the top-left corner of the gridbox editor and see a little black box bottom-right confirming my changes are saved, now when I click 'save' it simply freezes the page and saves nothing.
