I'm developing a website using Joomla! 3.7, but I'm facing a problem.

I have to retrieve data from MySQL and print them to the user. I have a lot a code behind this, so to make things simple, I used an iframe of a file which does the job.

I was thinking about how I could change this so that the research bar module could allow users to search things in the data that I got from MySQL, and then I wondered:

How could I retrieve the data using Joomla! (so the research bar will have access to this data) in a SEO-friendly way?

I read the 2 other posts speaking about rsform and chronoforms, but I'd like to have more information about the SEO-friendly side of the problem.

Any help or piece of information would be appreciated!

  • you need a component for the content and at least 1 plugin for integrating search of your content through Joomla search – FFrewin Jul 4 '17 at 12:46
  • @FFrewin Would you have an advice on how to organise this please ? – Rolexel Jul 4 '17 at 13:19

In this page you can find links to Joomla tutorials + documentation that probably will help you get more familiar: joomla.stackexchange.com/questions/3579/… – FFrewin Jul 5 '17 at 11:14
