I'm creating custom helpdesk ticketing component, where I need to track user activities. For e.g., If user have created the ticket, then it should get save to history table. Let's say user wants to update one of the field (suppose it is subject of ticket), he can just edit subject in the form and clicking on submit button will fire
JTable->save($data) method which will result in saving of corresponding field (in this case it is Subject)
My question is, How do I know which field(s) are getting updated in database?
I will get those fields and save in a database like this:
John Doe has modified Subject of Ticket on 05/19/2015
John Doe has Created Ticket on 05/19/2015
Do I need to write a plugin to achieve this? I don't expect to have a code. Just a small kick-start would help me.
